No, your eyes are not deceiving you. A sweet-looking hardcover of Mockingjay is being given away at P. J. Hoover's blog ROOTS IN MYTH until September 3, 2010 (which is the last Friday of summer, boo hoo!). Internationally too, I'd like to add.

Jillian (@ Random Ramblings), Linna (@21pages) and Raila (@ Books out of Bookshelves) are hosting this awesometastic charity fundraiser (not to mention GARGANTUAN giveaway) that has an amazing repertoire of prizes and lovely sense of generosity. It is so unbelievably awesome but the thing is, I'm still under parental rule A.K.A. access to money is controlled/not allowed to do anything involving money and the Internet.

So I would dearly love to help but don't have that privilege at the moment--maybe you can though! All you need to do is fill out a form and PayPal will send you a request through email to follow up on the specified amount you pledged. It's as simple as that!

Anyway, I've been rambling too much. Here's to hoping that First Book and Save the Children get huge, huge donations (meaning that the fundraiser is a success) !

GIVEAWAY AT YA HIGHWAY!

Well, I'd just like to inform y'all out there that dem folks at YA Highway are hosting a giveaway--a very nice one featuring a signed copy of Courtney Allison Moulton's debut novel ANGELFIRE. It's opened to international residents out there (go globalization!) and it ends Sunday, July 18th. If I were you, I'd hie to the post right away-- it's looking to be a very promising little novel--no submissive heroine, no pushover or abusive hero in sight. Always a good thing in my books. :)
